Description
Main Spring for Remington 700ML/MLS & Model 7 (equivalent to F15411)
A must have when converting a Remington 700 ML/MLS to 209 primers as the original system subjected the mainspring to lots of heat, extra cycles, and corrosive blow-back. Its a rare day that I work on a bolt running a leaky system that doesn’t have a worn out and corroded mainspring.
This is the spring that forces the pin forward to strike the primer in the Remington 700 ML/MLS rifle; it is installed inside the bolt body, around the pin.
This spring also fits the Model 7 rifle. We use these in our first generation 209 conversions for the Remington 700MLS (see picture below for more information). These springs are made in the USA out of US sourced materials.
