Description
THESE ARE SOLID 3D PRINTED PLASTIC!
Beware there are other “5-9” foam barrel resets out there.
We have tons of customers who are tired of the poor performance of foam and are switching to our solid plastic barrel rests.
Our 5-9Stlye© rests have improvements that allow them to better hold shotguns with a ribbed barrel. Badger Ridge’s also can be face screwed into a backer/wall behind, or mounted to thin sheet metal gun cabinets. Mounting to sheet metal cabinets is easily accomplished by drilling a couple holes through the cabinet, and running #8 self drilling sheet metal screws from the outside and directly into the plastic barrel rest (see our STACK-ON style barrel rests for more details on that method of mounting). Double sided sticky tape, or adhesive magnets also will work fine with these if you are so inclined.
Beware we don’t send any screws, tape, or magnets with these. You are purchasing just the hard plastic rest. If mounting into pressure-treaded 2by lumber like you see in these pictures: we recommend using torx drive flat head deck screws. Into dry wall or other substrates, standard flat head or bugle head screws will work too.
Our 5-9 barrel rests are fast becoming favorites of guys building racks for gun clubs and trap/skeet ranges. They have features designed to accommodate side-by-sides, to single barrel fancy trap guns. They are great all around performers
The length varies with the number of 3.5 inch wide U’s
2U -> 7 inches wide
3U -> 10.5 inches wide
4U -> 14 inches wide
To make a purchase: select the number of U’s, then the quantity, & then click “add to your cart.” Keep adding until you have everything you need in your cart and then check out. It will take approximately one business day per item to print it. We’ll ship your entire order when it is complete.
We print in PETG (strong and food safe plastic). FYI water bottles are made out of PET. (PETG is PET that is modified to work in a 3D printer). It can take hot rides in cars, and such, but I wouldn’t lean a hot barrel nor hot suppressor against it. These will be made in grey. We try to keep our shades of grey consistent, but sometimes we have to print in whatever is available.
