The breech plug will only work with our 209 Conversion system.  We offer them for sale as replacements for folks who loose or damage the original one that came with their complete kit.  If you don’t have our kit installed on your rifle you will need to purchase a complete kit (these breech plugs will not work unless your bolt already has our bolt nose and firing pin installed, and you are using a factory barrel)!

AGAIN YOU WERE WARNED:  IF YOU DON’T HAVE OUR KIT YOU NEED TO BUY THE COMPLET KIT (not this breech plug).  THERE IS NO CHEAP HALF FIX THAT INVOLVES THIS BREECH PLUG!

The Bolt Nose & Firing pin, won’t work with the original breech plug.   Again, you need to buy a complete system.   We offer these parts here for gunsmiths and tinkerers who are swapping barrels.    If you are swapping barrels, the Savage 10ML2 breech plug is stronger and recommended.   If you are going to use that breech plug, you might want to let us know you want a long nose in your note to seller portion of your check out.
