Description
- Upon successful completion of this course, students are issued certificates. This certificate is then presented in person to their local county clerk for issuance of a CPL (the County Clerk accepts the application, certificates, fees, and directs the fingerprinting, etc).

Class is taught by a USCCA Certified instructor using the Michigan approved USCCA curriculum and will include an outdoor live fire period. The indoor portion of the course is held our heated/cooled finished basement. Closed toe shoes are required. Adults 18 and over only. Class size is typically held to no more than 6 adults to ensure quality personal instruction.
We will provide a “crock-pot” lunch, coffee, pop and other non-alcoholic beverages. Please advise if you have any food allergies or aversions.

What to bring:
- A notebook & pen.
- The range is outdoors, so please wear closed toe shoes and dress accordingly for the weather.
- Eye & ear protection (we have foam earplugs if needed)
- Your own pistol* and minimum 30 rounds of ammo (we recommend 50 -100 rounds)
- We can rent a pistol if needed, please let us know before class.
- We typically can sell extra ammo too: (typically have 22LR, 380, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45ACP, available for purchase)
Not included but recommended:
- The softcover book covering the course material is Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. A copy is recommended for each participant.
All students’ firearms shall remain unloaded and cased during class, and best left in their vehicles
Please note: All course instruction and testing are conducted in English. Non-English speakers are welcome, but are responsible for providing their own translator if needed to understand the material and follow safety rules. The instructor and facility do not provide translation services, but Spanish is commonly spoken in our home and is easier for us to accomodate.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 96 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 96 hours before the class will not be fully refunded.
