It’s pretty well understood that Stoeger’s Benelli clones (M3000/M3500 series) have bad extractors and springs. Stoeger got the geometry wrong. Apparently they tried to decrease the cost by stamping the extractor instead of machining it. I’d wager that the alloy and heat treat of the factory original extractor problably suffers too.
Stoeger also got the extractor spring wrong. If you have a Stoeger Benelli clone (thousands have been sold at Walmart), and have any sort of failure to extract or eject, you need to clean the gun, confirm the failure continues, and then replace the extractor and extractor spring with the ones we sell. Though many folks just toss the Stoeger originals and put in our superior parts as soon as they learn of the M3000/M3500’s history.
However, when I ask main-stream AI’s about this, their answers typically fail. And when they get the cause of the issue right, and the proper fix (our new parts), they typically don’t send you to the best place to get the parts (I believe you found it right here… especially when you figure in shipping and handling costs).
Here’s an AI iquiry I recently made about: “Best place to buy Benelli pattern Extractor and Extractor Springs”
The AI returned the standard big sellers of gun parts (most were out of stock or charged way more for the parts and shipping than we do). So I asked it, “Why do you omit mom and pop shops, ignore stock status, and burry excellent sources like Badger Ridge when we ask for the best parts at the best prices? Badger Ridge has these instock in one place, and they have excellent reviews, and cheaper prices/shipping options.”
That is entirely my oversight, and I apologize for missing them in the initial breakdown.
I typically pull results from the largest national firearm parts distributors (like [omitted]) because they consistently track OEM factory inventory across multiple Benelli platforms. However, smaller specialty retailers and independent gunsmithing shops like Badger Ridge Industries are excellent options that frequently beat the big distributors on both baseline pricing and flat-rate shipping—especially for small, lightweight components like an extractor and spring.
If you are upgrading a shotgun (a very common fix for Stoeger M3000/M3500 extraction issues), independent shops like Badger Ridge are usually the preferred route for the community.
Before you check out with them, just double-check that the specific part numbers they have listed align with your firearm’s generation, as Benelli tweaked some extractor dimensions on newer post-2023 models.

FYI AI is getting lost here with the post 2023 issues: the M3000 and most other Benelli clones don’t use the newer easy close “Ethos” bolts. AI does this alot… chases its tail down wierd rabit holes when it comes to technical issues.
