Description
These 3D printed items can be used to improve the effectiveness and saftey of dry firing exercises by blocking the chamber and depressing the magazine follower (allowing the slide to be acuated to recock the firearm).

These are caliber specific. We offer them in 380, 9×19 ((mm Luger), .40 S&W (also works in a 10mm), and 45 ACP
The kits come with 2 or 3 pieces:
- 380 & 45 have two pieces: Bore blocker & Single Stack Magazine Follower Depressor
- 9×19 (9mm Luger) has 3 pieces because it has an addtional double stack magazine follower depressor.
- 40/10mm has two pieces because it only has a double stack magazine follower depressor
ALWAYS UNLOAD YOUR FIREARMS BEFORE WORKING ON THEM OR USING THIS SYSTEM. USE THE PROCEDURES IN THE FIREARM’S OWNER’S MANUAL TO ENSURE THE FIREARM IS SAFE & UNLOADED. Remove all live ammunition from any space that will be utilized for dry-fire training.
The chamber blocker will block the chamber: preventing cartridges from chambering. With the system installed the pistol cannot be loaded. This improves dry firing safety.
To use: ENSURE THE FIREARM IS UNLOADED & REMOVE ALL AMMUNITION FROM THE DRY-FIRE TRAINING SPACE.
- Place the long skinny part (the bore flag) of the chamber blocker into the chamber, and place the chamber blocker into the chamber. As you continue to insert the chamber blocker into the chamber: orient the flat portion of the chamber blocker towards the extractor (to prevent the extractor from being engaged by the chamber blocker). You may have to close the slide to properly seat the chamber blocker into the chamber.
- Place the appropriate magazine depressor into the magazine as if it was a cartridge (this depresses the magazine follower so that it cannot engage the slide stop).
- Place the magazine into the pistol (as desired) – With a depressor properly installed: the pistol’s slide can be cycled with a magazine installed: the magazine can be inserted, but will not actuate the slide catch. This allows one to rack the slide and cock the pistol (with an empty magazine in the pistol). This gives a similar experience to having a loaded magazine feeding rounds with each cycle of the slide, and allows one to practice changing magazines.
To remove the chamber-blocker:
- Lock the pistol’s slide to the rear
- Press on the tip of the bore flag near the muzzle onto a hard surface to back the chamber blocker out of the chamber (on longer barrels you may need a cleaning rod, pencil, or ball point pen).
- Concurrently use your fingers to bend the chamber blocker out the ejection port while pulling the wider portion out the ejection port.
CAUTION: THE SLIDE WILL BE UNDER TENSION. TAKE CARE TO NOT SLAM IT HOME AND CRUSH/PINCH YOUR FINGERS.
WARNING: FAILURE TO READ & FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS & THE PRECAUTIONS IN THE FIREARM’S OWNERS MANUAL CAN RESULT IN DEATH, MAIMING, INJURY, AND/OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!!!! IF YOU AREN’T 100% SURE, TAKE THE GUN TO A GUNSMITH!!!
