This Magazine end cap is the only part that is the same between the V3 and the VersaMax.    The cap has notches inside it to engage the plastic spring retainer.     The threads are the same between multiple Remington magazine caps, but no others will engage the plastic spring retainer.   Has an integrated swiveling sling mount.
