Replacement Bolt Carrier Link (aka Rat Tail) for VersaMax & Benelli SBE3

The VersaMax shares many compatible parts with many Benelli shotguns (and Benelli clones that can shoot 3.5″ shells like the Stoeger M3500).  This bolt link is one of the Benelli parts that will keep your VersaMax running.  (and also works in the Stoeger M3500).  This Benelli made bolt link fits SBE’s and many Benelli clone autoloaders that have 3.5″ chambers.   This one part is called by many names:  Bolt Link,  Bolt Carrier Link, and colloquially: Rat Tail.

For the time being we’ll be offering two versions of this rat tail:

First will be brand new, Benelli manufactured, and have their newer coatings.

The Second are essentially the same (as far as function and fit), but are New Old Stock (NOS).    They were made by Benelli many years back.   They are the older version made for the Super Black Eagle (SBE) and didn’t get the nice modern coatings (B.E.S.T) because Benelli had not implemented them when these were made.   These NOS  bolt links have been sitting in a warehouse bin for quite some time.  These NOS parts  have some minor surface finish issues.    I’ve scrubbed them with a scotch-brite and oil, then treated them with some corrosion inhibitor.   I’d use them in my VersaMax (or other Benelli 3.5″ chambered clone), but some will not be happy with their surface finish (probably why Benelli eventually improved the surface coatings).  See the pics below:
