‘Remelli’ parts kit for VersaMax, Stoeger & more (Cam Pin & Trigger Pack Parts)

Our “Remelli” Parts Kit was conceived for the Remington VersaMax.    The joke is that it makes a Remington a “Remelli”.   These parts also can help with issues in  the Stoeger 3000, 3500, and other Benelli clones.   The kit contains:

– Replacement Benelli: Cam pin, Hammer, & Hammer Spring Plunger/Cap

– Replacement Made In USA Hammer Spring for Benelli & Benelli Clones (Chrome Silica)

If you want us to put the parts into your shotgun’s trigger assembly: just select the “I’ll pull my trigger pack and send for upgrade ” , then add to cart.   Once you complete check out,  remove your VersaMax’s trigger pack and send just the trigger pack to us (we’ll hold on to the parts you purchased, await your trigger pack’s arrival, swap the parts, & then return the trigger pack to you with the new Benelli cam pin).

The Repair Service is simple:

What you are buying with our Repair Service: We’ll pull the hammer/plunger/spring clean and replace them with new Benelli manufactured M4 parts (and throw the old parts in the recycling bin… unless you put a note in telling us you want them back).

The New Cam Pin (and anything else you purchase like an action spring) will be shipped to you with the upgraded trigger pack (the cam pin is replaced just by pulling the bolt apart with the procedures in the owner’s manual).

​Again, if you want your old parts back, let us know with a note accompanying the trigger pack (or they’ll just end up in my recycling bin).  Expect 4-8 weeks turn around (from when your item hits my hands until it’s complete and back in the mail).

​I’ve personally seen two VersaMax’s with light primer strikes at the same time on the same waterfowl hunt, because they had bad hammers, springs, plungers, and cam pins.   Both guns had well over 500 shells through them… one was close to 1500 shells, the other about half that.  The “Remelli Kit” plus a good cleaning and lubing of the action spring, plunger, and tube was the fix.    They were good for another few hundred shots, then needed the recoil spring replaced.   So I’d just replace the recoil spring as part of the refreshing of your VersaMax.

Remember a little light grease (when its hot out) or a lot of high quality oil (for hunting situations where it will get cold) is required on the cam pin to prevent galling & deformation (even on the higher quality Benelli pin we sell here).   And on top of cleaning and lubing the trigger pack, you should remove, clean, and lightly lube the action spring with proper gun oil very often to prevent it from gumming up in the cold.
