Primer Tray Bail for Lee Hand Auto Prime

Have an old Lee Hand Autoprime with the round primer feed tray?   Tired of the lid popping off?   I was so I made this.   Hope it helps you keep priming with that woderfull old Lee product!

I’ve used a Lee Hand Auto Prime system my dad bought in the early 90’s for years to prime my brass.    He loved this when it came out, and passed it on.   My biggest complaint was that the nubs on the clear plastic tray cover wore, and it was easy to pop the tray cover off and dump out primers.   Not a problem now that I keep the tray cover on with this plastic 3D printed bail.   Hope you enjoy it and it saves you a headache or two!

To use:  Place your primers in the tray and shake gently  like normal to orient them for priming.  Then put the clear cover on and twist to lock it like normal, then slide the bail on to keep the cover in place.  Note:  The text on the bail should align with the central “LEE” logo if its on properly.
